Availability & Booking

How do I check availability?

You can use our online calendars to check availability for any date up to 2027- Online Calendar. Alternatively, send us a message with your preferred property, date, and length of stay, and our team will provide the relevant details.

Please note: We do not offer a general price list, so having a specific date in mind is essential.

Can I book just one night?

Due to the size and preparation requirements of our properties, one-night stays are unavailable.

How much does it cost to stay?

Prices vary based on the season and the specific property.

All our prices are based on the individual property, rather than the number of guests staying. Follow us on social media for special offers and discounts for returning guests.

Can I pay in installments?

We require a 25% deposit at the time of booking to secure your reservation, the balance is due 4 weeks before arrival and the security deposit is due 1 week before arrival. You may pay in installments after the deposit, provided the full balance is cleared by the 4-week deadline. We accept payment by credit or debit card and by bank transfer.

Property Details

Where are you based?

All our properties are based in Cumbria, north west England. Four Oaks House, Cottage & Apartment are all located in the quiet village of Cargo, on the outskirts of Carlisle. The Big Pink House is located in Mealsgate, a small village near the town of Wigton, around halfway between Keswick and Carlisle.

How many guests can the properties accommodate?

Are the properties wheelchair-friendly?

While not specifically adapted, our properties have standard-width doorways suitable for wheelchairs. Four Oaks House and Big Pink House also feature ground-floor bedrooms for guests with limited mobility. Please contact us for more details.

Do the properties have Wi-Fi?

Yes, all properties offer free, high-speed Wi-Fi. Access details are included with your check-in information.

Is the garden shared?

All our properties have their own unique facilities. Each garden and hot tub area is private for the guests staying in each particular property. Please read through our property descriptions or contact us if you have any questions.

Are the properties close to each other?

The properties at Four Oaks Estate are all attached, but each unit has its own private entrance on the opposite sides of the building. Large fences divide the properties for privacy. It’s very rare that we have concerns from our guests staying on site. Please contact our team for a full description of the site layout. The Big Pink House is fully detached, set in a rural area.

Amenities

Is the hot tub included?

Yes, hot tub use is included in your stay. Additional hot tubs may be available for hire upon request.

Do you provide towels?

Each guest receives one hand towel and one bath towel for indoor use. Please bring your own towels for the hot tub.

Is there a BBQ?

Can I bring my dog?

Dogs are welcome for a fee of £20 per stay. Maximum of 2 dogs per property. Please contact us for more details.

Can I have a party?

What do I need to bring?

All our properties are self-catering. We provide basic items such as washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, tea towels and sponges. We don’t provide food items such as salt, pepper or oil. Please bring along your own toiletries – there is one hand soap and one toilet roll provided per bathroom. Your own towel for use by the hot tub, a robe and some slippers or sandals to walk to and from the tub is often a good idea too! Please contact us if you have a question about the items we provide.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Can I book a shopping delivery?

Yes! Please schedule deliveries a few hours after check-in time (4:00 PM).

For Four Oaks Estate, we recommend using the ASDA superstore’s click-and-collect service, just a 10-minute drive away.
